"waiting it out" isn't much of an option when doing an art challenge :D
luli, maybe you should set up themes for everyday? some challenges include daily keywords, maybe that helps?

and the picture itself is cool, but you should at least use a contrasting colour for the background.

well, it looks pretty cool, the colouring fits the overall simplicity.
apart from that it's hard to tell what you're capable of, because you avoided difficulties by covering everything of interest with the shield. try to push yourself and test yourself with more daring poses.
